Anthony Harper welcomes two new partners

Anthony Harper has welcomed Natalie Summerfield and Tom Montgomerie to its partnership, adding senior expertise to its environment and planning and corporate and commercial practices.
Both will be based in the firm's Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland office.
Summerfield is an experienced resource management, environment and local government lawyer, advising public sector and corporate clients on major infrastructure projects and property developments. Her practice includes consenting and strategic advice, regional and district planning, environmental compliance and approvals under the Fast-track Approvals Act regime.
She has significant experience advising government agencies on major infrastructure projects, particularly in the roading sector. Summerfield is also an accredited hearings commissioner and a committee member of the Women's Infrastructure Network Auckland Chapter.
Montgomerie is a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate advisory. He acts for listed issuers, large corporates, private equity sponsors, fund managers and growth-stage businesses across sectors including infrastructure, primary industries, technology and financial services.
His experience spans domestic and cross-border transactions, capital raising, company and securities law, corporate governance, structuring and shareholder arrangements.
Managing Partner Ed Dunphy says the appointments bring valuable additional expertise to the firm and its clients.
"Natalie and Tom are both highly regarded lawyers with strong experience in their respective fields. Natalie brings significant resource management and infrastructure expertise, while Tom adds further depth to our corporate practice, particularly across M&A and capital markets.
"They are also both collaborative, commercially minded lawyers who will fit well with the way we work with our clients and across the firm. We're very pleased to welcome them to Anthony Harper."
