Alistair Law advises investors, developers, property owners, financiers and hotel owners on major real estate investment, development and leasing projects throughout New Zealand. He is trusted on complex transactions where legal, commercial and strategic considerations intersect, helping clients deploy capital, manage risk and deliver successful outcomes.
His practice spans the full lifecycle of significant real estate assets, from acquisition and financing through development, leasing, operation and disposal. Alistair has particular expertise in the hotel and tourism sector, regularly advising on hotel acquisitions and developments, hotel management agreements, hotel leasing and other operational arrangements. He also acts on major investment transactions for institutional and private investors, advises on large-scale development and urban regeneration projects, including mixed-use developments and residential communities such as KiwiBuild projects, and has a substantial commercial leasing practice acting for both landlords and tenants across a range of asset classes.
