Anne Wilson is a Partner in our Employment law team working across both our Christchurch and Auckland offices. She has extensive experience practising in employment law, gained primarily at a top tier law firm, but also as in-house counsel for Vodafone, and the Employers and Manufacturers Association before joining Anthony Harper as a Partner in 2020. This gives Anne a unique perspective in meeting the needs of clients.

Anne’s work includes advising on:

  • Complex restructures
  • Personal grievance claims
  • Employment status claims
  • Minimum entitlement claims
  • Exit negotiations
  • Triangular employment claims
  • Whistleblower complaints
  • Conducting bullying and harassment and disciplinary investigations
  • Collective bargaining and collective employment agreements
  • Individual employment agreements and employee incentive and bonus schemes
  • Restraints of trade
  • Authority hearings
  • The employment aspects of large corporate transactions
  • General employment advice

Anne’s solutions take into account the multi-dimensional aspects of the employment relationship, and clients describe her working style as responsive, commercial and pragmatic. She was a key member of the Holidays Act Remediation project team in her time at Vodafone, and the Act remains a key area of interest.
