With almost 20 years of extensive experience in the retirement villages and aged care sectors, Jenny leads Anthony Harper’s Retirement Villages and Aged Care team with exceptional expertise. Her comprehensive knowledge spans from legal frameworks and commercial practices to industry trends and key stakeholders.
Jenny specialises in providing corporate advice tailored to the retirement village and aged care sectors. Her proficiency includes the registration of new villages, preparation of compliance documents, general operational advice, navigating dispute resolution and advising on compliance aspects of M&A and financing transactions. As the ageing population increases, Jenny frequently addresses issues related to the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring that her clients are well-prepared for these challenges. She represents a diverse range of operators, from large listed groups to small not-for-profit entities, and also advises statutory supervisors.
Drawing from her extensive background in property finance, compliance, and general commercial law, Jenny delivers targeted and practical advice in her field. Her leadership and expertise are pivotal to the success of the Retirement Villages team. This includes managing its specialist settlements service (acting for operators on resident entries and exits) and associated bespoke software products, Villageinfonet and Villageinfonet PRO.
